How to create or reset a password in Crunchyroll

Your Crunchyroll account password helps protect your account information and subscription details. If you forgot your password or want to update it, you can reset it from the Crunchyroll sign-in page.

Reset your password

  1. Go to the Crunchyroll sign-in page.
  2. Select Forgot Password?
  3. Enter the email address associated with your Crunchyroll account.
  4. Select Submit.
  5. Check your inbox for the password reset email.
  6. Open the email and follow the instructions to create a new password.
If you do not receive the password reset email:
  1. Check your Spam or Promotions folder.
  2. Confirm you entered the correct email address.
  3. Wait a few minutes and try again.

Change your username

You can create or edit your username from your Crunchyroll profile settings.
  1. Sign in to your Crunchyroll account.
  2. Select your profile picture.
  3. Select the highlighted username field next to the pencil icon.
  4. Enter your preferred username.
  5. Select Save.

Username requirements

Usernames can include:
  1. Letters
  2. Numbers
  3. Hyphens (-)
  4. Underscores (_)
Usernames cannot include:
  1. Spaces
  2. Periods
  3. Special characters

Change your email address

On a web browser

  1. Sign in to Crunchyroll.
  2. Open your Profile.
  3. Select Settings.
  4. Select Email.
  5. Select Send Email Change Link.
  6. Open the email sent to your inbox.
  7. Follow the link to enter your new email address and current password.

On a mobile device

  1. Open the Crunchyroll app.
  2. Go to Account.
  3. Select Email.
  4. Tap Request Email Change Link.
  5. Open the verification email.
  6. Follow the prompts to update your email address.

Email verification links expire after a limited time. You can request a new link if needed.
